Łukasz, born in Kielce in 1977, was steeped in classical music from an early age. Summers spent in France with his luthier uncle ignited his fascination with sounds. Enamored with Bach and Mozart, he was already composing his first scores at the age of 12. Everything changed during his adolescence when friends introduced him to the music of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Pink Floyd. What connects symphonic music with popular music? Without a doubt, the Hammond organ! Although its inventor, American clockmaker Laurens Hammond, disliked popular music, the instrument permeated the mainstream and became the foundation for compositions by many 70s metal bands.
The Hammond organ became "Luka's" primary tool, which he practiced and developed his craft on to this day. Its sounds can be heard in Łukasz's early heavy metal bands as well as his 21st-century electronic projects. Concurrently, "Luka" became fascinated with music production – composition and sound engineering. He gained his first experience co-producing tracks for the legendary group "Wzgórze Ya-Pa 3," which after 1993 formed the absolute core of Kielce's underground hip-hop. During his studies, Łukasz further developed his passion for music production under the tutelage of sound engineering legend Andrzej Karp. In the Sonos and Izabelin studios, he participated in recordings of Polish entertainment scene legends, learning and refining his recording engineering skills.
Paweł, born in Grudziądz in 1977, soaked up music from an early age. His father, an avid home audiophile, introduced him to the world of pop sounds, playing music from reel-to-reel tapes and igniting in young Paweł a desire to understand how such tracks were created. His mother, a native mountaineer from the Beskids, ensured his carefree childhood, taking the whole family on vacations to her hometown.
There, in the evenings around bonfires, uncles and cousins would feast daily, playing live music until dawn. Harmonica, trumpet, or double bass – these were the first instruments that fascinated the young boy and developed his understanding of live music.
Already in elementary school, Pablo began attending the Grudziądz Cultural Center, where he learned programming. Simultaneously, thanks to his two-year older sister, he started going to discos at the Bravo club during high school. It was there, through DJ Budzik, that he became fascinated with playing live popular music. Initially, the DJ played from cassettes, but a revolution quickly arrived that replaced cassettes with CDs.
Playing music sporadically evolved into a profession throughout high school. At the same time, Paweł developed his programming skills, which led him to Gdańsk, where he earned a diploma in computer science. Playing music under the pseudonym "Pablodesilva," he gained increasing recognition, performing not only in Poland but across Europe. His experience and passion increasingly directed him towards musical composition, and he began to present his first tracks at parties.
After completing his higher education, his DJ career truly took off, and the desire to create his own music studio became Pablo's most important vision for the future. In the early 2000s, Paweł moved to Warsaw, where he became the artistic manager of the newly opened Extravaganza club. Here began a beautiful story of playing for several years alongside exceptional club personalities who shaped and developed Warsaw's club culture. Tennessee, Moondeck, Caprese, and Sunny are just a few of the DJs with whom Pablo regularly played in Warsaw's capital clubs, co-creating a clubbing scene that many still consider the golden era of Warsaw's nightlife.
